Product Description

  • The Asian/Import iPod Interface connects an iPod directly to the factory radio. Track-selection can be controlled from the radio, as well as rewind and fast-forward. The interface also provides digital-quality sound and charges the iPod while in use (the charging feature is only supported by iPods that are 12 volt firewire charging capable, please see compatibility notes).

    Works with select 1992-2007 Acura, Honda, Isuzu, Scion, and Toyota vehicles. Harnesses are included.

Vehicle Compatibility Notes

This product does not charge:

• iPhone 3G™

• iPod nano™ (4th Generation)

• iPod touch™ (2nd Generation)

These models require the purchase of an iSimple™, IS710 “Re:Volt” Charging Adapter (sold separately, available Spring 2009)

 

  • All Makes: Not compatible with any factory external audio source such as: XM tuner, CD changer, or Cassette player. These devices must be disconnected during the installation and will no longer function.
  • Toyota: Harness requires modification for 2006-2007 Toyota applications (green wires must be cut in the harness)
  • Toyota Matrix; Not compatible when equipped with a factory 6-disk CD changer
  • Acura/Honda: Not compatible with factory radios that have a 6-disk in dash CD changer. Not compatible with navigation radios.
